Your family can pick from glamping in teepees or conestoga wagons circled ’round fire pits (with restrooms located nearby), hotel rooms and suites or two bedroom cabins or cabins with lofts, all on their 58-acre property.

Our double queen suite included a “kitchen” area with mini fridge, microwave, Keurig with Starbucks coffee, cabinets for storage adjacent to a sink outside the bathroom which is always a big plus. A wardrobe with closet, drawers and TV next to the table and chairs completed the inside amenities. Opening the slider to the balcony containing two chairs and a small table was a happy surprise and the view—oh the view! 🙂

On the premises, find a well-equipped stand-alone fitness center capturing the mountain landscape and surrounded by motion-activated lighting, the pool and hot tub stay dimly lit so you can stargaze to your heart’s content.

You’ll also find a restaurant, store and even horse and llama rides available right on site. We caught a double rainbow after a flash flood in Capitol Reef while we were there.

In the nearby town of Torrey, you can find additional food options. Get excellent Mexican food at Chak Balam, Torrey Grill & BBQ smokes their selection of meats daily, and the Capitol Burger food truck is famous for their scrumptious Mac ‘n Cheese burger. Wherever you choose to eat, you can top off your meal at Color Ridge Farm and Creamery with a flight of ice cream flavors (three or five flavors).
