When will Southwest release October, November and December 2019 flights?
The airline has currently opened the Southwest Flight Schedule for booking through November 2, 2019, but remaining November and all December flights are not yet available.
The next release of flights was originally scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 2019 but then Southwest posted the release was DELAYED until Monday, March 18. However, they surprised us and went ahead and opened flights on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Southwest will release November and December flights through January 5, 2020, on May 23, 2019, so you that you can begin your holiday travel planning.
The airline tends to open flights about every four to 12 weeks.
You can begin booking flights at 5 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on the release date, according to Southwest Airlines.
Note: This date sometimes changes, as it did multiple times for this flight release, so keep checking back for updates. Southwest Hawaii Flights
Southwest will officially begin flights to Hawaii on March 17, but you can book them now!
Currently, you can fly direct to Oahu, Maui or the big island of Hawaii via Oakland or San Jose airports, both in the San Francisco area.
Here’s everything you need to know about Southwest Hawaii flights.
Earning the Southwest Companion Pass
If you’d like to bring someone free with you on your fall Southwest flights, I highly recommend earning the Southwest Companion Pass, which is good for up to two years. You simply need to apply for two Southwest credit cards when their bonuses are between 50,000-60,000 points after meeting the minimum spend.
Once you accrue 110,000 qualifying points, you’ll have a pass where one person can always fly free with you (aside from the $5.60 mandatory government security fee per way).
