Hilton launched a new way to use Honors points today: Shopping on Amazon! Deals and discounts on Amazon can be hard to come by but now there’s one more option with Hilton’s new perk for its loyalty members.

Some of my favorite ways to save on Amazon include:

Hilton is the first hotel brand to let you use your loyalty points to purchase items on Amazon! And Hilton currently has a 100,000-point bonus offer on its Hilton Honors™ Surpass Credit Card good through October 4, 2017.

To apply for any of the credit cards in this post, please start at the TRAVEL CREDIT CARDS link in the main menu above. This allows me to earn a commission — at no cost to you — to help pay the blogging bills :), so I can continue to bring you great content free!

To do so, you’ll first need to link your Hilton Honors account to your Amazon account. Simply click on this link and then select Get Started and then Enroll a New Rewards Account. Enter your Hilton Honors username and password and your accounts will be linked.

Then, you’ll just choose the amount of points you want to use when checking out on Amazon.com. I had about 8000 Hilton Honors points which only translates to about $16. So I likely will not use the for this purpose, unless I just have some extra points lying around that I don’t plan to do anything with.

This of one several new perks the Hilton Honors program has launched this year including the ability to pool points with friends and family and use a combination of points + cash to book rooms. I like Hilton Honors for many reasons not the least of which is the awesome Hilton Digital Key.

What do you think? Will you use Honors points on Amazon?
