If you’ve ever wanted someone to walk you through step-by-step exactly what you need to do to fly free, I’ve created the answer: The Frugal Flyer online course.
I designed this course, because I know how much time and effort it took to put together a plan for my family to begin flying free once we learned about the hobby of miles and points back in 2015.
I figured I probably wasn’t alone in wishing there was a something I could read or watch that would lay it out for me all in one place. I got tired of searching through different blogs, bookmarking a million pages and then trying to go back and put together a patch-work strategy. Are you doing that? 😉
In the Frugal Flyer Course, I’ve shown you EXACTLY what you need to do to fly free on ALL FOUR major U.S. airlines: Southwest, United, American and Delta. Plus, I throw in two of my favorite programs that can further boost your miles: Chase Ultimate Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest.
And I like to keep this simple, so I zero in on the methods that net the biggest results with the least amount of effort, aka the 80/20 rule or Keep It Simple Stupid :). That’s how I try to approach everything in life!
I spent many, many, MANY hours putting together this course for you last summer and recently gave the whole thing a complete update. Because, you may have noticed, things in the miles and points world change a LOT and FAST.
Cost and Close Date
I’ve decided to drop the price for the Premier version, which will now be the only version offered (it has all the bells and whistles :)) permanently to $99, because I want EVERYONE to know how EASY it is to fly free. I want to make sure it’s affordable but still accurately reflects all the time I put into it and the VALUE it holds.
AND I’ve decided to extend the enrollment close date until May 29, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET before we head into the busy summer travel season. I won’t open it again UNTIL some time in 2019.
So that means NO ONE will be able to enroll in the course after it closes on TUESDAY, May 29 until early 2019 at the earliest.
I did this, because I want to make sure I can keep it up to date.
Also, as part of the course you get a one-on-one consultation with me. And I need to make sure I can complete all of those in a timely fashion before adding more students.
The course, which is a combination of videos and text, starts by giving you an overview of the hobby of miles and points and how it works. We also discuss credit scores and making sure they stay high, as well as how to be responsible with credit cards.
- All about the airline (seating, bags, fare types, etc.)
- All the ways you can earn points with that airline (and there are a lot more than I ever imagined!)
- All the credit cards for each airline
- How to book a flight using miles on each airline
- Some inside tips on how to get the most out of your miles (like American Reduced Mileage awards and the Southwest Companion Pass)
My FAVORITE PART?
- Sample plans and/or case studies for each
You’ll get to see how OTHER people flew free or earned a Companion Pass AND I provide sample pathways and roadmaps for you to earn flights to your favorite destinations.
These show you EXACTLY how many miles you need and HOW to earn them.
View the full curriculum here and watch the Introduction and Welcome video (at the top of the curriculum) FREE.
Then, I throw in some awesome tools I’ve created to help you manage this process and stay organized — and today I even decided to throw in my packing list too.
There’s even some bonus content like How to Find More Time to Travel and How to Earn Your First Free Flight Without Ever Stepping on an Airplane.
Plus, I’m giving everyone a one-on-one consultation with me as one more bonus, so you can ask any questions you have specific to your situation.
So…. if you want to enroll, do it now before it closes again until 2019!
Got questions? Ask ’em!
Remember, it closes until 2019 on May 29 at 11:59 p.m. ET!
